Lighting & Sensing Tubing

Our domestically produced nickel and stainless alloy tubes are frequently used in lighting and sensing applications. Due to their similar coefficient of expansion to glass, nickel-iron Alloy 52 and Kovar® are often used in glass to metal seal applications.

Alloy 52 is 52% nickel with an iron balance; it has a similar coefficient of expansion as soft glass and is used in light bulbs and specialty sensors. Stainless tubing is fabricated by our customers into devices that serve as temperature and sensor probes. You can rely on us for your lighting and sensing nickel or stainless steel tubing needs.
